Bye Bye Stockholm Fashion Week 

Next up is New York Fashion Week but this year I will be in front of the laptop. Can’t wait to see Isabel Marant, Alexander Wang, 3.1 Phillip Lim, 10 Crosby Derek Lam, Acne, BLK DNM, Jil Sander, Joseph, Marc Jacobs, Prabal Gurung, Proenza Schouler, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Tom Ford, Jason Wu, Rodarte, Helmunt Lang, Rag & Bone and of course Oscar de la Renta.

YESTERDAY I was in a rush so I only have this picture on my outfit. I wore my favorite full length coat from Zara, H&M knits, skinny bootcut by Red Engine and Zara boots.

STOCKHOLM Fashion Week started today and I’m breaking into my new straight jeans from J Brand with black pointy pumps from Manolo Blahnik, Valentino bag (also new), COS tee, Reiss coat and all knits are from H&M Men and Ladies.

TUESDAY evening it was finally time for the Missoni x Lindex design collaboration to be revealed. We all gathered at the Italian Embassy this beautiful pre-fall evening for some live music and summer cocktails outdoors. Later on it was time for the fashion show and I was more than excited to see it. A well-done collaboration that both suits the lady and her daughter with the classic Missoni zigzag pattern yet some surprises. The collection is out in stores on the 15th September – and don’t forget 10% of the sales price goes to the fight against breast cancer. Enough talking here’s the evening:

SFW SS2013 showed us more cutouts, burnouts are to come and stay among loose silhouettes and layers on layers. Given a pretty cold palette with whites and pastels as key we also see some warmth coming from nature/army tones such as khaki. We’re welcoming higher slits (the better!), functional clothing and skinny bootcuts (so American and of course I’m loving it). Continuing being strong and key items of the season – the bomber jacket and joggers. Well that’s all for now! Looking forward to the rest to come! x
